The Band Department at Naperville Central High School is under the direction of Director, D.J.
Alstadt, and Associate Director, Brandon Estes.
There are four curricular bands: Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Also
offered are Music Appreciation: Bach to Rock, and Music Theory classes.
In addition, Naperville Central has an extensive extra-curricular program consisting of marching
band (Marching Redhawks), pep band, Jazz Studio Orchestra, Jazz Band, Jazz Lab, several combos, chamber ensembles (quintets and ensembles), and Steel Pan bands.
Naperville Central's Band Program truly has "something for everyone!"
