The Band Department at Naperville Central High School is under the direction of Directors D.J.
Alstadt and Scott Silder.
There are four curricular bands: Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band and Concert Band. Also
offered are Music Appreciation and Music Theory classes.
In addition, Naperville Central has an extensive extra-curricular program consisting of marching
band (Marching Redhawks), pep band, Jazz Studio Orchestra, Jazz Band, Jazz Lab, several combos, and
a chamber ensemble program (quintets and ensembles).
Naperville Central's Band Program truly has "something for everyone!"
