The music area has six practice rooms and two ensemble rooms for student use. Any music student,
vocal or instrumental, may use these rooms before school, during lunch/study hall or after school.
Students must request a pass from a music teacher. The only guidelines are that once permission has
been granted to use a room, students must PRACTICE in the practice room.
A music staff member must be present to supervise activity in the practice room area. Sometimes the
Director must leave the area or the building to attend meetings or visit other schools in the
District. If the area is locked during the lunch periods, students can't practice.
If private studio staff are teaching lessons, they will have first priority of the practice rooms.
