| Matthew Heard |
Matt Heard is the drill designer for the 2007 show, "El Fuego Del Toro." Matthew is a visual designer, consultant and instructor to the marching music activities. He starting writing professionally in 7 years ago, for a pair of courageous Florida bands. Since then, Matt's designs have been performed by dozens of organizations from coast to coast. Most recently, he has ventured into the winter guard scene as a show designer.
Matthew is a native of Macomb, Illinois, and recently relocated from Central Florida to Chicago. He is a 2000 graduate of Western Illinois University, with a bachelors degree in hospitality management.
Matt was a member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps from 1995 through 1998 (mellophone). He joined The Cavalier's visual staff in 1999 and has been instructing the corps every year since.

| Allan Zwettler |
Percussion Caption Head. Allan is a native of the Chicagoland area and has been actively instructing Illinois marching bands for over 12 years. He was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and has taught with numerous drum corps, including the Madison Scouts and the Blue Stars. Mr. Zwettler currently serves as Percussion Caption Head at Naperville Central High School in Naperville, IL. He is also a design team and percussion staff member with the Pioneer Indoor Winter Drumline, based in Romeoville, Illinois.
Mr. Zwettler has a bachelor's degree in business administration for Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a degree in mathematics education. He is a proud endorser of Pro-Mark drumsticks. |

| Mark Larson |
Mark began his formal musical studies in the Chicago area at the age of eight. He held first chair in the Illinois Music Educators Association All-State Band both his junior and senior years, and premiered a Walter Ross Euphonium solo with the Milliken University Wind Ensemble his senior year. At 19 years of age, while attending The University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, Mark auditioned and was selected for membership into “The President's Own” United States Marine Band in Washington, D.C. Mark was a featured Euphonium soloist with the Marine Band on numerous occasions from 1981-1987, including the band's 60-day West Coast Tour in 1982. A 1983 winner of the National Symphony Orchestra's Collegiate Solo Competition, he studied privately with Daniel Perantoni, University of Illinois; Milton Stevens, National Symphony Orchestra; Arthur Lehman, U.S. Marine Band and David Fedderly, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and The Juilliard School. Mark holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Georgetown University . He currently teaches privately in the Naperville area and is a member of the Naperville Brass Quintet.
His marching experience includes Drum Major for Thornwood High School, South Holland, Illinois and a member of the 1979 Marching Illini. |
